Lily is 3 months old...

Lily is 3 months today! Time goes sooo fast! She will be going to college any day now! This picture wasn't actually taken today, it was last Friday. She has learned the joy of playing or looking at toys.. kicking her feet, and putting blankets in her mouth. She grew over night and is now 12 lbs! Her hair is very thick and getting longer in the front, but the back is a different story, she is getting a nice big bald spot.

Addicted....

Do you ever find yourself sitting at the computer at 11:30 PM, when all babies are asleep and you can't keep your eyes open, and you know you have a busy day starting in a few hours...but you can't stop looking at peoples lives??? Whoever came up with blogging should be shot and kissed at the same time! I LOVE READING ALL ABOUT ALL OF YOU!

ZOO

Brian's Aunt and Uncle came to visit Nick and his family. So we tagged along to the zoo. It is such a great zoo!! We bought season passes and I am so excited to go there as often as possible (if you live near here, let me know when you want to meet there.) It was very hot, 95 degrees, so we didn't see a ton of animals.... but the splash park was very nice!

This is Natalie, I lived with her for 5 years while in undergrad at USU. She is living down here also, but 45 minutes away, and we were all a little busy...so finally on October 12th she blessed her darling little boy and we got to see them. She had a boy 4 days before I had Lily. It was fun to see her and her darling family. I shouldn't admit that i had a baby only 4 days after her, judging by this picture...no I am not wearing maternity clothes...i am just ENORMOUS and this is all that fit. She looks great as always! (Nat the zoo is great, we need to meet there!)

Family trip to.....

For those of you that are like me, and didn't realize that many of the cowboy movies, Tombstone, Wyatt Earp, etc are actually based on real people and events that happened in this funny and cute little town....This was heaven for a boy that grew up loving cowboys (and still does) and fun for those of us that like history...
We saw almost everything that they had to see...we spent a day and a half, it was fun. This graveyard is crazy. It is mostly crosses but they all say how the person was killed or who did it. Ex: ED Smart, hung because he killed a man or Bob Joe, killed by Sam Bob in a gun fight....It was the real graveyard from the 1800's, but the grave crosses have been repainted. They didn't dig the graves deep back then, so they were all just piles of rocks. They call it Boot Hill Graveyard because so many people were dying that they didn't have time to take their boots off.
I love this picture.....Max was tired of pictures but still cooperative.
This was after one of the shows with the cowboys that stared in it.
Have I ever mentioned that Max loves his belly button and he plays with it when he gets nervous. Brian calls it his nervous button. I am not sure if he was nervous here or it just seemed like a fun way to take a picture. He now says "cheese" when we tell him to smile. Of course we love it, because he is FINALLY TALKING.
Here we all are
So this famous shoot out at the OK Corral happened right here... we watched a play of it and walked through where it really happened. This was a fun few days. It is where we went to get away after midterms. Not that we needed a reason to play!

Mama Mia!

Okay so I LOVED the Broadway show of this (both times I saw it) and my mom kept telling me to go to the movie. But I was secretly afraid it would ruin the Broadway so I wasn't hurrying to see it. The other night I was at the cheap theatre so Brian and I went. I LOVED IT! It was just like the Broadway, they didn't ruin it at all and it was darling! They did a great job casting it. As far as I could tell, they only changed two songs... it was great and I can't wait for it to come out in video. But how could a show be bad when they make a plot out of ABBA??

brotherly love

Every time I put Lily on the couch, Max joins her. The other day he requested that she sit there by him. He really seems to love her, way to much at times, but it is sweet.

MAX IS 2!!

Max turned 2 last Tuesday! I can't believe he is already 2!! Time goes sooo fast! Brian and I made this train cake for Maxs party on Sunday. He is into trains lately, so we gave him a train set. He has enjoyed it the last 3 days.
Here he is stealing a lick...

This is him before Church, telling me he won't smile for my camera.
Max is so fun! He is starting to talk a lot better then even a month ago, he is signing less and less everyday and replacing them with words. I never thought the day would come! He is all boy...loving trucks, trains, airplanes, balls and outside toys. He loves Lily and is ALWAYS hugging her, or squishing her...we aren't sure of his motives... We love that he loves to cuddle and kiss us all the time. I love that even though he can say Bye bye, he still blows a kiss and waves... He is starting to understand teasing and how to play rough with his dad. He likes to make sure every thing and everyone is in the right place. He can say so much with one or two words and is always telling us who he saw and what he did..
Max is just a sweet boy that is naturally happy and easy going. I wish everyone could get to know him the way we get to!

blog worthy.....

Here is lily yesterday.... 2 1/2 months old.... eyes are still blue.... i don't want them to change...
Okay so really I have a ton of updating to do and I am sure it is all blog worthy... but LILY SLEPT FROM 9:00PM UNTIL 6:45AM!!! Life will include sleep soon......
