New Years Resolutions...
Okay, so I am a big goal maker, just not the best goal keeper or reacher... I AWAYS have a to do list... but I am very FLEXIBLE about getting it all done. LOL Some may call it something else, I like the idea of flexibility... anyway, I used to write great New Years Resolutions. Not this year though. I don't see the point in writing down what I am already working on... spend more quality time with my kids and husband, get in better shape, eat better, do good in school, keep the house clean, read my scriptures... you get the point right? But last Sunday, after running around naked while trying to get everyone and myself dressed and ready for church, i came up with a resolution. If you know me well, you will understand. So my goal is to not let my kids (or neighbors) see me naked on a daily, or many times a day basis. This may seem odd to some of you out there...but don't you get out of the shower and air dry while you do your hair and makeup? And sometimes you need to grab something across the house? and often you don't realize the blinds are open.. and your 3 year old is always asking questions about nakedness...
This brings us to TODAY
The kids are sick and have been for a few days. I didn't feel well yesterday, but I am fine today. Yesterday I was wanting to take a bath but when the time came that I could, a nap sounded better. So today I told all I was getting in the shower and needed some privacy ( good job working on my resolution, Max used to lay on the floor and "watch" me shower, even though the curtain was closed). This was responded with many comments of not locking the door, don't close the door, blah, blah, blah. So when I got into the bathroom, door closed but unlocked, I decided a bath sounded better. So I got in, got a magazine and started to relax. About 3 seconds later the oldest child enters. I explain why he needs to leave. After many questions; do I need a cup to wash my hair, why am i reading, am i going to shave today? He leaves. I think I will be alone now. Nope. The darling 2nd child is learning how to open doors and in she comes. She thinks it is funny that I am in the bath....
So I yell for Brian to save me. He comes in laughing, and closes the door. LEAVING THE CHILDREN! Now that the relaxing is over, and the resolution is ruined! I decide I should shave and at least entertain them...
Brian is in trouble but says that is what I get for sneaking in a bath... maybe tomorrow the resolution will go better....Do you all get why I made it now?

Our lily...
So Lily had a rough Christmas morning (remeber the tea set instead of bike). She opened a gift from her Aunt Tisa that she was happy about, a purse filled with chocolate. She put one in each hand, waved good-bye, and went to the door. She was done and leaving. gotta love her spunk!
Our Very Merry Christmas
I hope you all had a great holiday too!!
