NASCAR track (Phoenix International Raceway)

Brian and his cousin, Nick, went to the track today. They met a security guard that took them on a private tour. Here they are driving on the track!
Here he is on the start/finish line.

This picture was taken from the spectator boxes.

Brians first day out exploring...

After I had been home from the hospital a week, and I was feeling a lot better, we decided we should go exploring. First we went to the Diamond Back stadium. It was fun to see. We missed the last tour of the day, but we plan on returning when I function without drugs!! We also decided to give in and buy a double stroller after Brian had to carry both children around with him! I can't lift Max yet, or Lily while she is in the car seat. Mr. Independent Max, wants to be carried ALL the time since Lily has come home! (Not lifting Max is the hardest part of this recovery!!)We ate lunch at Johnny Rockets. It was a cute place, Max had fun.

We also went to the Cardinals Stadium. i would say this is why Brian moved here....I don't know that he loves the Cardinals, but it is NFL! I wish I could explain the grass well in words, but they roll the field outside to care for it. It was very cool. Just a big field outside, then they roll it back in for a game. The last picture shows it outside.

We also went to Cabelas. It is actually right by the stadium and Max loves the animals. We had to see the fish 3 times while being there for under an hour! Lily slept through all of this excitement! Sorry her picture is sideways, I didn't change it before I put it on and we already discussed that I don't know how to delete pictures after I start!

Flashback to June

June was a crazy month with packing, but I took a week off and took Max to McCall Idaho. My friend Rebecca has a family cabin there. We have been BFF since we were 5. She now has 2 girls and lives many miles away from me. We had a great time hanging out at the beach, reading, knitting, and catching up on alot of conversations! She also took some great pictures of Max, which I am sure I will get soon. :)

Every year we go camping with a few of Brians friends from high school. All are married and now, all have at least one child. It is always fun. This year we went to Cherry Hills in Layton Utah. It was a very kid friendly water park. We highly recommend it to anyone with kids!

Flashback to the weeks before the move...

max LOVES the Bronco! He also loves his dog and dad!

We spent the 4th of july with the Durst family at the Menan parade. We then had a great BBQ and saw wonderful fireworks.

My brother Ben and his wife Jena came with Matt to visit us before we moved. It was fun to see them. max is trying to keep all the balls away from Indy (our dog).

We went fishing with some friends and spent the day at their cabin.

I got this Mia tia (http://www.haveaballbaby.com/) to replace a borrowed front pack I used with Max. I love it but Lily gets to hot in it in this heat. I am hoping she will love it when this heat ends! Max loves it now! He likes to be wrapped up tight! It is very comical!

our new addition

Here we are before going to the hospital to add to our little family. I think we were all scared. If Max wasn't, he should have been!
Waiting for surgery....

Here is Lily...
Dads true feeling of being a father of two...
Max loves holding her, a little to hard at times..
This is my mom, she came to help right before Lily was born. She was VERY helpful and we were sad to see her go!

I do think this picture is darling, but it really got posted twice because we are in the middle of Lost and I am still on drugs...any pointers on deleting pictures once they are posted?

The day we went home. This is horrible of me, but I just gave birth and I thought it was cute of Lily.

Max has started waking up at night and wanting to get in bed with us. We are to tired to tell him no. We had all 4 of us in bed this night. This is what I woke up to.
